Hoteliers in Eastbourne want to meet with town planners to discuss the needs of the modern day guests.

Following Eastbourne Buzz’s report with Councillor Jim Murray on Monday (28 August) about the Borough Council wanting to keep a Victorian feel to the seafront, the Hospitality Association feels there could be a certain amount of double standards going on.

Ideally, Town Hall wants to see as many wooden window frames kept in place as possible, but the hoteliers want to be able to move with the times and use uPVC replacement windows, to keep costs down, especially when many buildings on the seafront already have double glazing.
