It looks as though Eastbourne may be getting a new lap dancing club.
Last night (29 August), planners at the Borough Council heard a proposal for the former House of Commons building in Pevensey Road, which would see a new suite created on the second floor. This would include a cabaret and lounge, which would include provision for a restaurant and exotic dancing.
It was also proposed the nightclub would be open from 8am-4am Monday-Saturday and 8am-3am on Sundays and Bank Holidays. Lap dancing would take place between 10pm-4am Monday-Saturday and between 10pm-3am on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
With the exception of one abstention, all councillors on the committee voted in favour to grant a change of use for the second floor of the building, as per the officers’ recommendations.
