Conservatives at Eastbourne Town Hall are accusing the Liberal Democrats of pushing through a development, that will see an old church transformed into flats.
The proposals for St Andrews United Reformed Church in Cornfield Lane were previously thrown out, with some of the planning committee believing it to be a gross overdevelopment. Now, with the number of flats dropped by one and three extra parking spaces, the adapted plans have been passed.
But the LibDems have been telling Eastbourne Buzz that they dispute the claim that it was forced through:
