Several people from Eastbourne have been recognised in the Queen’s Birthday Honour’s List.
Professor Ann Moore, lately Head at the Centre for Health Research and Professor of Physiotherapy at the University of Brighton, who received a CBE for services to Physiotherapy.
Professor Nick Webborn, Chief Medical Officer for Paralympics GB. He receives an OBE for services to Paralympic Sports Medicine and the British Paralympic Association.
Margaret Rooms, Head of Units of Sound Development at Dyslexia Action, who receives an MBE for services to Education.
John Pritchett receives the BEM for services to the community in Willingdon.
Paul Yeates from Alfriston, receives the BEM for services to education. He’s lately been Chair of Governors and a volunteer at Lingfield Notre Dame School in Surrey.
