Wealden District Council’s free computer advice sessions – Coffee, Cakes & Computers – returns at East Dean Village Hall next Thursday (21 September) from 10am-12pm.

“I’m always delighted we are bringing Coffee, Cakes & Computers to another village,” said Councillor Nick Collinson, Portfolio Holder for Community Leadership. “Getting online and using the internet is essential to everyday life and I’m pleased at the effort invested by Wealden District Council to helping our residents to do so. Our Coffee, Cakes & Computers sessions are always well received - last time everyone who attended said it was excellent - so if you think it would be useful then I encourage you to come along.  Why not tell a friend or relative about it too?”

Residents are invited to drop in if they want some advice about using computers or getting online.  You might have a question about: keeping safe online, shopping online, social media, storing photos, emails, Skype or more. Come along and ask in a friendly atmosphere over a hot drink and a slice of cake.

Attendees are welcome to bring their own laptop or tablets but there will also be some tablets available for use on the day.
