The Queen’s 90th Birthday’s being celebrated in Eastbourne today (12 June).
Meads Street is shut this afternoon to allow for a party to take place.
The afternoon will include singing and music, as well as plenty of eating.
The Mayor will cut a special birthday cake, which has been made by the University of Brighton, Eastbourne MP Caroline Ansell will judge a crown competition and the community will sing Happy Birthday to Her Majesty.
The road is due to re-open at 5.30pm.
