We find out later today (19 September), if the Cabinet of East Sussex County Council agrees that closing seven libraries is a good idea.
It’s proposed the move would save the authority £653,000 and if councillors vote in favour, we’ll go to a consultation to see whether we agree with them.
Among the libraries earmarked for potential closure are Willingdon, Polegate, Langney and Pevensey Bay.
