Eastbourne Bandstand’s longest running season continues with legendary tributes, traditional concert music and impressive firework finales.
Taking centre stage this week is The Jam tribute, Total Jam, performing tonight (22 September). Audiences can prepare to “Feel the Love” as Jimmy Love and his band recreate Sir Elton John’s greatest performances on tomorrow (23 September).
Transporting audiences back to the late 1970’s punk era is Total Jam, the UK’s leading tribute to The Jam. Donning smartly tailored suits and playing replica instruments, Total Jam recreate the signature look, sound and feel of Paul Weller, Bruce Foxton and Rick Buckler. Audiences can expect to hear a wide range of hits from across their musical career including “Going Underground”, “Town Called Malice”, “News of the World” and many more well-known songs.
Recreating the ultimate Elton John experience is Jimmy Love who both looks and sounds just as incredible as the real deal. Since 2007, Jimmy has been honing his performance as Sir Elton John to deliver a breathtakingly accurate concert featuring hits such as “Your Song”, “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” amongst a variety of singalong tunes.
Doors and the bar open at 7.00pm with the concert kicking off at 8.00pm for an evening of entertainment. Ticket prices start at £7.75 for adults and £5.50 for children, with 10% discount for Friends of the Bandstand.
