Pevensey Bay Library won’t be closed without a fight.
With the service currently under threat as the County Council looks to save money, a public meeting was called by MP, Huw Merriman, at the Priory Court Hotel last night (25 September).
Feelings were running high, as the community came together, vowing to fight the proposed closure and stressed its importance to the three villages that use it the most – Pevensey Bay, Pevensey and Westham.
A public consultation is currently underway into the future of the library, which is running until December.
