A peaceful protest is planned against the proposed closure of Polegate Library.
The library is one of seven the County Council is considering for closure, in a move that would save £653,000.
The demonstration is planned for Tuesday 5 December at 9.30am with organisers hoping as many people as possible will attend to show County Hall the town wants and needs its library.
East Sussex County Council say the number of people using libraries has fallen dramatically and they want to create a modern and sustainable service for the whole county. An online consultation is running until Thursday 14 December and can be found here.
