Audiences are destined for a show-stopping weekend of performances for the penultimate week of the season at the UK’s busiest Bandstand. Returning to rock the stage one last time is two legendary music acts, Elvis and Queen, performed by two of the UK’s best tribute acts on the final weekend of September.
Ready to leave audiences “All Shook Up” is Mark Summers as young Elvis and the Memphis Sons Band tonight (29 September). The Young Elvis Years stage show is guaranteed to take audiences on a musical journey that highlights Elvis’ iconic career. From his early Sun Records days featuring ‘Shake, Rattle n Roll’ to tracks from his Hollywood movie hits including ‘Viva Las Vegas’ and ‘Jailhouse Rock’.
With over 10 years’ experience performing worldwide, 50s styled suits and instruments with a vintage feel, audiences can step back in time to relive the music by the King of Rock and Roll.
Making a welcome return to the Bandstand is ‘HRH & The Great Pretender’, paying tribute to musical legends Queen tomorrow (30 September). Starring as the ‘Great Pretender’ himself is Steve Littlewood as Freddie Mercury and special guest Brian Rock as the legendary Queen guitarist Brian May.
The amazing 5 piece concert showcases the early hits of the 1970’s through to the rock anthems of the 1980’s. Audiences can expect the wonderful sound of Queen combined with the show-stopping energy of Freddie Mercury in this all-singing, all-dancing stage show with plenty of costume changes along the way!
