There were goals galore in Polegate Town's two games at the weekend.

A hard fought 3-3 draw for Polegate Town's 1st team away to Nutley in the Mid Sussex Championship. Town raced out the blocks with Alex Frost slotting the ball past the keeper within 5minutes of the start. However, 10minutes later, the visitors trailed 2-1.

Town had keeper Steve Cook to thank, with a superb save low down to his left, tipping the ball round the post. Polegate levelled midway through the first half, when Joe Green bundled the ball over the line from an Alex Humphrey corner.

Town fell behind again around 70minutes, but Polegate rallied once again and levelled things with 10minutes remaining, after George Whitley's free kick took a deflection sending the keeper the wrong way.

Polegate Town's 2nds lost 5-4 away to Ifield Albion. A topsy-turvy game with the lead changing hands a few times. Goals from Joe Lyons (2), Lee Lock and Ricky Algeo weren't enough to return with a point, as Town still look for their first win in Division 5.
