An Eastbourne woman is ploughing through year-long quest - to complete a challenge every week for charity.
Alex Charles-Weston hopes to raise £1000 for St Wilfrid’s Hospice, who took care of her mum in the final stages of her life back in 1994. Alex said, “They did an amazing job caring for my mother. So I would like to give back to them and try and raise as much money as possible for them.”
Alex started her first challenge on 16 March 2016, with the final day of her last challenge expected to be 17 March 2017.
So far, she’s given blood, walked 120 miles in a week and suffered nasty burns after sitting in an ice bath. Other challenges she has planned include Race for Life, the Brighton Half Marathon and sleeping rough.
Anyone wanting to support Alex, can do so via her JustGiving page.
