Friends of the Earth want more help in tackling air pollution in Eastbourne.
Having joined up to work with the Borough Council in looking into the issue, they are now calling for more community groups to join the fight in cleaning up the problem.
The issue was raised by a report, published by the World Health Organisation in May, which said Eastbourne had high levels of pollution.
Now, Eastbourne and District Friends of the Earth want everyone to take responsibility for the issue and take small steps to reduce pollution in the town. They want us to do things like turning off the car engine at level crossings and car sharing on the school run to cut harmful emissions.
