Two former shops and an old kabab shop could get a new lease of life in Eastbourne.
The three sites in Seaside and Seaside Road are being considered by planners for a conversion into a flexible use space, which would include areas for a café, training and employment, printworks and a workshop and art space.
It’s hoped it would help support the wider vibrancy of the Devonshire Ward and the town centre by enabling visitors and residents to embrace creative skills. It’s also thought the site, in time, could become a milestone on the coastal cultural trail linking Eastbourne, Bexhill and Hastings.
It’s thought the plans will get the go ahead tonight, but with conditions.
