Heavy rain is expected to arrive from 8pm tonight (22 June), with the warning in place from 6pm through until 6am tomorrow, when it is downgraded back to a yellow alert.
We’re being told to expect thunderstorms, frequent lightening and torrential downpours, with up to 50mm of rain falling in just 2-3 hours in places.
The weather warning remains in place as a yellow alert through until 4am on Friday (24 June).
The rain is expected to fall solidly in Eastbourne from 8pm tonight until 11am tomorrow, when we should see a few hours break, before it returns again in the afternoon.
