It looks like we’ll soon be seeing more beach huts pop up along Eastbourne seafront.
Permission has been granted for five to be built to the east of the pier after a competition was held to come up with designs.
They’ll be erected in different locations and each will have a unique look and feel to it, with one to be lit with LED lights, another to take the look of a spyglass and another to feature a lot of recycled material.
The idea behind the huts is to put a modern twist on a traditional seaside concept.
Earlier this year, a row of colourful beach huts were put up near to Fort Fun.
