Fun for all the family is promised at tomorrow’s Sunday Funday (June 26) at Sevenoaks Park in Langney.

Organised by Eastbourne Homes’ four Area Panels (Central & Archery, Hampden Park & Willingdon Trees, Old Town and Langney), the event runs between 12 noon and 4pm.

Everything costs 50p and activities will be on offer to entertain all ages, including plate smashing, a bouncy castle, tombola, raffle and an arena with lots of fun events taking place. Albion in the Community will also be holding a Beat the Keeper football challenge.

One of the highlights of the annual event is the fun dog show organised by Cobie VetCare. Owners are invited to register their canine pals by 12.30pm in order to take part.

Refreshments will include a cake stall and burger stand, and proceeds from the day will go to local charities.

Sarah Roberts, an Eastbourne Homes’ Neighbourhood Caseworker, said, “We’re all looking forward to the Sunday Funday. Despite it being a wet day last year, the event raised more than £1,200 so we’re hoping for better weather and to smash that figure this time. Everyone’s welcome to come and join the fun.”
