Polegate’s MP is so concerned about severe cuts to the Lewes to Seaford train line, she’s called a public meeting.
Maria Caulfield will be chairing a meeting at Seaford Baptist Church at 7pm next Thursday (14 July), which will see a senior Southern/Govia Thameslink Rail Director quizzed over the new temporary timetable.
The new reduced service, which comes into force on Monday (11 July) , will see most trains between Lewes and Seaford replaced with buses, as 341 services are axed every day across the Southern network.
