The Opera Duo, who debuted at the Bandstand last year, return to Eastbourne’s seaside stage for an elective evening tonight (10 July), which brings a crossover of classical music and musical theatre!
Leroy Vickers and Martin Jackson, both professional tenors from Hull, are a unique duo who have combined their individual talents to produce an exceptional blend of opera and the classics and show stopping West End tunes.
Performing together since 2007, the pair have toured all over the UK and Europe and when they take to the Bandstand stage, audiences can enjoy a 90 minute set which includes impressive vocals sung in a variety of languages; Italian, Spanish and English, from both the classical genre and the world of pop music.
As always, Sunday nights at Eastbourne Bandstand aim to mix things up and The Opera Duo are just one of the great acts who are adding to this year’s miscellaneous Sunday evening line-up; with brand new shows such as ‘Sounds of the Sixties’, ‘U.S Diva Night’ and the ‘Multi-Tribute Comedy Show’ all still to come this summer.
