The A27 remains closed at Firle after two lorries crashed earlier this morning (11 July).
The collision happened near the Glynde junction just before 8am. One of the drivers has hurt his leg, although it’s not yet been released how badly.
The road has been shut for nearly 4 hours (11.50am) as the lorries are having to be separated before they can be recovered.
Drivers are being advised to avoid the area if at all possible.
UPDATE: The road was reopened around 12.30pm.
