The Big Bad Wolf is sure to be bringing the house down at the Devonshire Park Theatre, Eastbourne this August when the ‘Great big little West End show’ The Three Little Pigs comes to the theatre 2, 4, 6 and 7 August.

From the award-winning writers of international smash-hits Mary Poppins and Honk! This brilliant musical is perfect for audiences aged three+ and their grown-ups, who will also love this fun and funny musical tale.

He can huff and puff until the cows comes home, but will the Big Bad Wolf get the better of the three little superstar piglets in this brand new retelling of the classic story? Piggies Bar, Bee and Q leave Mummy Pig and the home-sty to build their own houses; but will the Eco-friendly dwelling that environmentally conscious Bee created stand up-to the job? Perhaps gym obsessed Bar’s house made of sticks will be better suited to the elements, Q’s brick built home might be better but will he be ripped off the by the builders?

And as for the Wolf perhaps he isn’t really big and bad, maybe he’s just misunderstood and hamming it up? One thing’s for sure there are plenty of twists in this curly tale! Full of catchy songs, jokes and japes for little ones and parents alike, this bright and breezily endearing musical will leave you squealing with glee and howling with laughter.

Composer George Stiles and Lyricist Anthony Drew began writing musicals together over thirty years ago when they first met at University. Since then the duo has written a vast number of award-winning musicals, favourites include the Olivier Award winning Honk! which has been seen by over 6 million people world-wide, plus Cameron Mackintosh’s phenomenon Mary Poppins, and Peter Pan – A Musical Adventure. The Three Little Pigs is from the Trilogy of Trios that includes Goldilocks and the Three Bears and The Three Billy Goats Gruff.

Their latest works include Half a Sixpence which will premiere at Chichester Festival Theatre later this month and a brand new musical version of Wind in the Willows which is due a West End opening in October.
