With temperatures approaching the mid-twenties in Eastbourne this weekend and lots going, we’re being reminded not to forget our four-legged friends.
The RSPCA is reminding us that cars can affectively become ovens during hot weather and dogs can die if left unattended in a vehicle.
In temperatures of just 15C outside, the temperature inside a vehicle can reach in excess of 43C in just an hour.
The animal charity has issued advice on what to do if you come across a dog shut in a car, van or caravan, which includes when to dial 999. To read the advice, click here.
