Children are getting hands on with growing their own in Eastbourne.
Archery Rec in Seaside now boasts three Edible Eastbourne sites, growing all kinds of fruit trees, herbs, vegetables and salad ingredients.
The site, which was funded by Councillor David Tutt through the devolved budget, will be available for anyone in the community to pick some food to take home. It will also be used by Eastbourne Home Educators, who plan to cook meals with the children to eat either in a picnic, or inside the community centre.
Many of the plants were donated from Hankham Organics and Home Base.
