More life-saving equipment has been donated to Eastbourne.
The town’s Lions Club has presented an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to the Langham Hotel and a further two to the Eastbourne First Responders.
In return, the First Responders donated previously used AEDs to use for Public Access Defibrillators (PADS), along with a bright yellow cabinet for outside storage.
The Lions Club is now actively looking for sites to install the PADs to best benefit the greatest number of people in Eastbourne.
Driving the ‘Save a Life’ campaign, an Eastbourne Lions spokesman said, “Any business or organisation can buy a Defibrillator at any time they don’t have to wait until somebody has a heart attack.”
